The Loyola Student Group Chapter is proud to welcome Robynne Raye the Co-founder of Modern Dog, an internationally acclaimed graphic design company in Seattle will be speaking on Friday, February 5th @ 7 p.m. in Miller Hall Room 114.
How modern are they?
Modern Dog has been recognized in national and international publications such as Communications Arts, Computer Arts, EYE Magazine, CMYK Magazine, Print Magazine and Paste. Some of their clients include HBO, Capital Records, Sub Pop Records, Microsoft, New York Times Magazine, Adobe Systems Inc, Swatch, Nike, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and several music and theater venues located in Seattle. They are most well-known for their outlandish, humorous and innovative poster work.
Before you ask…
For those of you who do not know Loyola’s campus Miller Hall is situated next to the library and on Calhoun St. There will be a book signing of Modern Dog’s new book Modern Dog: 20 years of Poster Art at the end of the lecture. The book will also be for sale for $25. The lecture will be FREE.
